Hand Made All Natural Soap, Essential Oils and
Hand Made Natural Products
by TLC Naturally, LLC
TLC Naturally blossomed into a reality due to my ongoing
search for natural and organic ways to age nicely
and gracefully and at the same time enjoy optimum health.
From that search came the wonderful world of designing hand
crafted all natural soap and other personal products.
Our natural products also take advantage of the wonderful
array of aromatherapy through pure essential oils.
We are located in the beautiful mid west region of the
United States - specifically,
the state of Missouri and we strive to provide our customers
and friends with a range of quality
essential oils and
handcrafted natural products that not only are of the
highest quality, but are reasonable in price. Our
products are not only personally tested by family, friends
and neighbors, but come with a guarantee - you don't like
it, we'll make it right! Needless to say our essential oils
are also tested pesticide free according to GC/MS
analysis.
By sharing what we know through our ongoing
recipe page for natural hand made
soap-making
and various creams and lotions and helping others to learn
how to use fresh, high quality and organically grown hand-crafted
herbs, we feel that in some small way we are contributing
to help others to educate and inform themselves to improve
their physical and emotional well being. Our
Resource page is an ongoing project and our goal is
to offer tested and true
recipes and
supplies for all aspects of natural organic products.
Recipes
for home made natural soap and other natural and home made
products will also bring together family and friends whether
near by or half way around the world so if you have a special
recipe you would like to share or a
link that
others would enjoy and learn about the wonderful world of
natural products, please drop me a note and I'll add it
to our
Recipe Page or our
Link Page.

Quality Essential Oils - Short History
The history of
essential oils is as ancient as the world itself. It
was considered more valuable to ancient civilizations than
gold. For thousands of years the ancient Egyptians, Chinese,
priests and alchemists were using essential oils to heal
the sick, lift the spirits and paint the body. They
left recipes, tinctures and salve recipes in their hieroglyphics,
manuscripts and writings. Many of these recipes can
still be followed today and many have benefited from their
effectiveness.
The distillation of essential oils from various herbs,
bushes, shrubs and trees
through distillation leaves behind the subtle, aromatic
and volatile liquid that becomes what we know as the 'essential'
oil. Essential Oils come from concentrated plant matter
and the 'soul' or 'essence' of the distillation is what
gives the oil its characteristics. What will leave an impression
on you is the healing source from the 'soul' or 'essence'
of that particular oil. Each oil is derived from a different
part of the plant and each plant is as unique as a snowflake.
Essential Oils are also comprised of naturally occurring
chemicals that work in synergy with one another. These naturally
occurring synergistic chemicals cause a reaction within
our brains; and these reactions can effect our emotions.
Inhaling is the easiest way to enjoy quality essential oils.
But there are many other ways that safe herbs and
essential oils can be a benefit. Tinctures, face masks,
steam, salves, teas and powders, are just a few of the many
ways people use herbs and oils. From sprained ankles
to headaches, from back pain to eye strain, there is probably
an herb or plant that may help you in the healing process!
Handcrafted Bath and Body Products
The process of putting various organic and
natural oils together resulting in wonderful, sudsy lathering
facial and body bars still never ceases to delight me! I
love trying out new recipes and adding that oh-so-unusual
ingredient to make the soaps unique and special. It
is hard for me to have a favorite soap for long as the next
batch is always ready and willing and able to take that
position!
Our soaps and creams are made of the highest
natural organic quality products. The oils that seem to
always bring the best results are Unrefined Virgin Olive
Oil, Organic Shea Butter, Organic Pure Natural Coconut Oil,
Palm Oil and Palm Kernel Oil, Jojoba Oil and Sweet Almond
Oil. These are some of my favorite oils and then adding
a little Monoi de Tahiti (I LOVE this one!) with its addictive
sweet gardenia smell - well, it's like being in heaven!
Adding a little oatmeal flakes, grated orange peels, or
another ingredient into the soap mixture always brings about
a smile! I've even added the pulp from carrots after
juicing-and that was a really pleasant surprise! At
the final step, it sometimes can get perplexing on which
essential oils to add...peppermint? lavender? gardenia?
vanilla? So many choices!
And don't get me started on using
Goat's Milk or
Herbal Tea instead of water! Oh my!! Not to forget our
loofah type soaps which will exfoliate and exhilarate your
skin and our creams and lotions to caress you with sweet
fragrances and creamy natural organic oils. This is one
of my favorite parts of being involved with essential oils
and home made natural products! Creating various new styles
of soaps and creams is one of the most fulfilling and satisfying
projects yet! Check out our recipes and give it a try! We
can also help you find the
supplies you will need for creating home made natural
products! Or, of course, you can purchase these items through
TLC Naturally and be completely satisfied!
